For years we've been inviting our guests to Savor the Secrets of Surry, because there is so much about our community that has gone unnoticed in the larger Coastal Virginia Region. Now, we want to share the best options for food and drink, inviting you to Savor the Flavors of Surry!
The Surry Seafood Company Restaurant is the spot for waterfront dining in Surry County and the Greater Williamsburg Region. Menu items include the freshest seafood dishes, soups and salads, steaks, chicken, sandwiches and burgers, and signature cocktails. We suggest you start your meal with the Oysters Rockefeller or a delicious bowl of crab soup. Follow that with The Company Seafood Platter – and be brave enough to try the Classic Oyster Shooter. The indoor dining area offers views of Gray’s Creek, designated as part of Virginia’s Scenic Rivers Program in the summer of 2020. On a mild winter day, you may choose to dine on the deck overlooking the marina for the most stunning views of this historic area. Fortunately, the restaurant also has four well-equipped guest suites above the dining area that offer exceptional views of Gray’s Creek as well.

Hampton Roads Winery and Vineyard is located on a working farm which also raises beef cattle and goats – and is home to The World's Tallest Goat Tower! In addition to their multiple wine varieties, during the winter months they serve mulled wine for guests that are looking for something a little different. They even sell their own mulling spice mix which can be purchased with a bottle of their wine to enjoy again later at home.
